Anthony Russell
LEAD ANALYST

Anthony Russell has successfully made the transition from the shop floor to the office at ASC.

After working as a mechanical fitter for some 10 years, he joined us in 2004 as an Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) Technical Officer. ILS provides all the information and equipment, such as manuals and spare parts, needed to make and keep a vessel  operational.

Since 2004 he has risen through the ILS department and is now an ILS Lead Analyst on the Air Warfare Destroyer Program, a role which sees him developing processes, procedures and concepts to produce critical AWD ILS documentation.

“ASC offers a host of opportunities for experienced tradespeople who want to make the transition from the shop floor to an office environment while still enabling the application of relevant trade skills,” he said.

“And, for me, making the move from the in-service support role of the Collins Class submarines to the acquisition phase of the AWD Program has been not only a great experience, but a great career move.”
