Working at ASC

Tanya Pimblett started her career as an event manager – but will be soon managing millions of dollars worth of shipbuilding subcontracts instead.

She joined us in November 2006 and has worked on various contractual, documentation and start-up activities associated with our role as shipbuilder in the Air Warfare Destroyer Program.

In her current position as subcontracts specialist, she will be managing major sub-contracts from their release, subsequent negotiation and finally, award and administration.  The role is expected to involve travel, particularly to Europe and the US.

“I’ve only been at ASC for a short time and I’ve already had a variety of different roles which have been interesting, challenging and dynamic,” Tanya said.

“I get to work with a great team of specialists from interstate and overseas, and in a professional environment that encourages growth and development.”
