Andrew McFadyen
PROJECT MANAGER Andrew McFadyen has enjoyed an impressive career path with ASC, all thanks to hard work and extra education.
After completing Year 11, Andrew joined us as a production clerk at Osborne in 1991.
Since then he has risen in rank from an electrical tradesman and electrical superintendent to a project manager, overseeing all production work carried out in submarine maintenance in Western Australia. And, along the way, he has picked up some fairly handy qualifications: an Associate Diploma in Electrical Engineering from Regency TAFE; a Masters of Business Administration from Murdoch University; and he is currently studying his Masters in Human Resources, also at Murdoch.
“There are outstanding opportunities available at ASC if you are prepared to work for them and are happy to become further educated,” said Andrew.
“I started out on the bottom rung and have ended up doing much more than I ever thought I would.” |
