ASC welcomes new Chief Financial Officer

Mr Malcik joins ASC during a pivotal time following the company’s success in being selected as the shipbuilder for the Air Warfare Destroyer project.

Mr Malcik brings to ASC a wealth of experience as Chief Financial Officer within a number of high profile companies, including Lend Lease/Retirement By Design, Hilton Hotels/Jupiters Casino and Suncorp Metway.
 
He has also been the director of Hooker Corporation Limited and Knight Frank Pty Ltd. 
 
Mr Greg Tunny, Managing Director of ASC, said Mr Malcik’s 27 years experience in the finance industry will be an asset to the company.
 
“Mr Malcik’s experience covers a broad range of industries, including banking, insurance, hospitality, tourism and property development. He has a strong record in financial management and strategic planning, all of which have made him highly capable for the task at hand,” Mr Tunny said.
 
“Mr Malcik will work closely with ASC’s senior management group to further strengthen the company’s position within Australia’s defence industry.” 
 
Mr Malcik will be based in Adelaide.
