ASC Pty Ltd has today welcomed Mr Brian Archer as its new General Manager of People Service.
Mr Archer joins ASC during a pivotal time following the company’s success in being selected as the shipbuilder for the
Air Warfare Destroyer project.
Mr Archer comes to ASC with strong human resources (HR) and industrial relations (IR) experience in Australia and the US.
He has worked in senior HR/IR roles for a number of high profile companies, including Pratt Industries (US), Visy Paper and Tenix.
Mr Greg Tunny, Managing Director of ASC said Mr Archer’s experience will be an asset to the company.
“Mr Archer’s experience covers a broad range of industries, including shipping and packaging. He has a strong record in human resources and industrial relations, which has made him highly capable for the task at hand,” Mr Tunny said.
Mr Archer will work closely with ASC’s
Board of Directors and senior management to further strengthen the company’s position within Australia’s defence industry.
Mr Archer will be based in Adelaide.
