Purpose

The purpose of ASC’s Quality Policy is to formally describe ASC’s objectives for managing the quality of all its activities, products, sites and operations. This document stipulates the principles and requirements that drive performance and commitment within this policy area, in the execution of all ASC programs.

Scope

This policy applies to all ASC Pty Ltd (ASC) activities, employees, contractors and suppliers who have responsibilities relating to Quality outcomes within the Quality Management System (QMS).

Policy Statement

ASC is committed to maintaining and ensuring continual improvement of a risk-based QMS that will assist in achieving ASC’s Corporate Vision and Goals of delivering products and services that consistently fulfil or exceed stakeholder expectations, whilst meeting applicable legislative, regulatory and contractual requirements.

Policy Objectives

1. Maintain a QMS that is third-party certified to International and Australian standards (ISO 9001, ISO 45001, ISO 14001, ISO 55001 & ISO/IEC 17025), and meets all legislative, regulatory and contractual requirements.
2. All levels of ASC Management to provide leadership and commitment towards the effective implementation of the QMS, ensuring customer expectations are met or exceeded.
3. Communicate and engage with all ASC employees, contractors and suppliers aligned to ASC PRIDE Values to embed the Quality culture required to deliver business excellence.
4. Ensure where Quality risks or issues are identified, they are suitably investigated, contained and mitigated to prevent recurrence.
5. Regularly review, monitor and evaluate the Quality performance of ASC.
6. Utilise evidence-based processes to inform decisions affecting, or having the potential to affect, the ongoing performance of the QMS.
7. In liaison with Supply Chain, maintain effective relationships with contractors and suppliers to ensure the consistent delivery of products and services that are fit for purpose and meet applicable Quality requirements.
8. Ensure the ASC Testing Laboratories operate impartially and consistently with suitably competent and experienced personnel.
